The Issues of 2011

The podcasts here are about the issues of 2011 which interest those of us North of Bangor. The interviews in this section are with those in state government as well as those who are the "movers and shakers" of Maine: those who are active in their communities and at the state level, particularly focusing on issues which impact northern Maine.

With both feet firmly planted in 2011, we spoke to people who made a difference to people in northern Maine throughout the year.

Among them: Bruce Poliquin, who ran for Governor in the 2010 election and is now his former opponent Paul LePage's State Treasurer; State Representative Jeff Gifford, who spoke to me about his bill in the hopper now to abolish LURC and give their jobs to the individual counties; and Jason Savage, who runs the non-profit "Maine People Before Politics."
