This site is known for its podcasts with politicians and elected officials as well as those who speak publicly about issues, whether they be a national park in northern Maine, LURC, or the founding concept of liberty which is so intertwined with the state of Maine.
Those podcasts are available from the menu just left of this text, or on the Podcast landing page here. The most recent interviews in each category are those which are listed at the top of the menus.
The issues of the people who live north of Bangor are not always the same as those who live south of here. And the issue that are important to us north of Bangor are not always known by those who are south of Bangor.
Now, you wouldn't think that matters, but it really does.
As in many states, more people live in the southern part of the state than in the northern part. That means that the majority of voters live south of Bangor, and they vote on our fate up here in the northern half of the state.
Therefore, it is important that we understand our own issues and that we communicate them to Mainers who help to decide what our lives are like up here: North of Bangor.
